As part of the work funded by my Arts Council England Emergency Fund grant, I have been experimenting with ways of using sound and video to record and share my working processes. You can see films about my Kitchen Sketchbook and Walking Bundles in earlier posts.
I am interested in exploring the ways that I can use digital media and online platforms to communicate the value of everyday arts practices for wellbeing.
This short video shares my process of making and using Walking Pages. The video starts with me working at my studio in the Vale of Pewsey, in Wiltshire, before moving to the nearby River Avon, which flows down towards Salisbury and on to the sea near Christchurch.
