Urban Rural Exchange Collages: For Sale via #ArtistSupportPledge

These three collages are now available to buy, in connection with the #artistsupportpledge scheme founded by Matthew Burrows on Instagram.

#artistsupportpledge is a movement to support artists and makers during Covid-19. Artists post pictures of their works for sale for no more than £200… Everytime an artist makes £1,000 in sales they commit 20% on purchasing the work of another artist using the hashtag. There are no enforcements, it is a system based on trust where everyone, at every level can contribute in supporting artists and makers.’

They collages were exhibited in the Urban Rural Exchange exhibition at the Sky Gallery, Spitalfields Studios in East London earlier this year. They were made as a result of my year long collaboration with fellow artist Karen Wood, exploring the relationship between our experiences of the rural and urban environments of Wiltshire (where I’m based) and East London.

Each of these collages is approx. 27 x 19cm and is available to buy at £120 plus P&P. Please get in touch if you’d like to buy one, including the title of the piece in your message (Electricity, On the Road or Going Underground). I will then give you my bank details for you to make a transfer, and will post the work on to you, unframed and securely wrapped.

I will be adding other pieces here in the coming days/weeks, with different themes/media and at a range of prices. As I reach £1000 in sales I will then buy a piece of work from another artist who has also made the pledge.

If you have any questions, please do get in touch…
